Rural and Remote Graduate Teacher Scholarship

Up to $15,000 (before tax)

Permanent employment when you graduate

We also offer a range of scholarships for existing teachers, students and non-teaching staff.

These include:

the TJ Ryan Memorial Medal and Scholarships for high achieving Year 12 students
the Peter Doherty Awards for Excellence in STEM Education for senior students and teachers who demonstrate innovative contribution to STEM education
the Lambert McBride Perpetual Bursary for Indigenous university students.

Coming soon – the Turn to Teaching internship program

Within the Great Teachers, Great Future program, the Honourable Annastacia Palaszczuk MP, Premier and Minister for Trade, has committed $19.8 million for a Turn to Teaching internship program. Aspiring Queensland teachers will have an opportunity to undertake a paid internship while completing their studies, reducing the financial impact of commencing a degree in teaching.
